Indications      
Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan is indicated for insufficiency of the kidney yang occurring in chronic nephritis, diabetes, vegetative nerve disturbance, senile dementia, primary stage of prostatic hyperplasia, infertility, urinary dysfunction, amenorrhea and other chronic disorders. The symptoms may include lassitude in the loins, legs, and feet, cold feeling in the lower part of the body, stiffness in the lower abdomen, dysuria or polyuria, bulgy and pale tongue, feeble pulse or deep and faint pulse. Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan is inappropriate for patterns of kidney yin deficiency with deficiency-fire flaming upward manifesting a dry throat and mouth, and a red tongue with scanty coating.
